General description

The DW 1000 is a drop tower test system that performs mono-multi axial impact tests on products and speciments. The system allows to set impact energies ranging from 5 to 750J, allowing to test a wide range of products and materials, also thanks to the large volume of work available for the positioning of the sample.
The DW 1000 allows to perform both broken / notbroken tests and instrumented tests, in which acquires strength and energy absorbed during the impact.
The system is developed to be easily customized and upgarded in order to meet current and future requirements of the client.
All versions of DW 1000 are equipped with a direct reading of speed, automatic recovery and positioning system of the weight.
A wide range of standard accessories is available. For special requirements STEP Lab is ready to collaborate with the customer.
